About Us
Portrush is a popular tourist destination on Northern Ireland's famous Causeway Coast. The town sits on a peninsula jutting into the Atlantic between two sandy beaches. The station is home to two lifeboats: a 17m Severn class all-weather lifeboat with a crew of 6, The William Gordon Burr and a 5m D class inflatable inshore lifeboat with a crew of 3. The David Roulston Civil Service (No 52).
The RNLI Lifeguards are on the beaches from this year and will complement the service provided by the Lifeboats. We work closely with our flanking station Red Bay and the Coastguard.
During the summer our shop is open and has a great array of souvenirs , memorabilia clothing etc.

Portrush Station is always looking for volunteers to fundraise, assist the crew..or even become a crew member. If you ahve any great ideas or can spare any time to give to our fundraisers, we'd love to hear from you.
